Ram 3500 Configurations
As with other Ram pickup trucks in the lineup, the Ram 3500 has a menu of options that Warwick and Monticello drivers can choose from in order to personalize their ride. There are three cab style options, two bed lengths, the choice of either rear-wheel or four-wheel drive, three powerful engines, and an assortment of well-equipped trim levels.
Highly customizable, the first choice you have to make with the Ram 3500 is which cab style you prefer. Ram knows that drivers like options, and this impressive pickup has three. First up is a regular cab pickup with two doors and no backseat. Then, Monroe drivers have two four-door options with a backseat, the crew cab model and the extra-large crew cab, which Ram calls the Mega Cab.
When it comes to what's behind the cab of your new pickup truck, there are also two options for bed length. There's a short bed, which measures 6 feet 4 inches, or a long bed option, which is 8-feet long. Regardless of which you choose, every Ram 3500 comes with the carmaker's signature attention to detail and high level of craftsmanship throughout.
Ram 3500 Power and Performance
With a towing capacity that tops out at more than 37,000 pounds, and a payload of more than 6,000 pounds, depending on your configuration choices, there's nothing a Ram 3500 can't handle. This level of output and utility comes from the model's three incredible engine choices, which include:
- A standard 6.4-liter V8, which produces 410 horsepower and 429 pound-feet of torque
- An optional 6.7-liter, turbocharged diesel six-cylinder engine, which has an output of 370 horsepower and 850 pound-feet of torque
- An optional, higher-output version of the diesel powertrain, which is rated for 420 horsepower and 1,075 pound-feet of torque
